Welcome to iLok.com, the website for managing your iLoks and iLok licenses.
Your iLok is a cross-platform USB device, meaning you can use your
iLok on both Macintosh and Windows computers. You can even download your licenses to your iLok on a Windows computer
and then use the licenses to authorize your protected software on a Macintosh.

Getting Started
|
Sign up for your free iLok.com account. |
To avoid unnecessary charges when managing your licenses, please confirm that there is not an existing account for you or your studio before you
create a new one. You should have only ONE iLok.com account,
regardless of the number of iLoks you have.
Even large studios with over 100 iLoks use only one iLok.com
account. |
| Download the iLok Client Software... |
and install it on the computer you will use to manage your
iLok on iLok.com. You may use the iLok to authorize your software on a
different computer
that is not connected to the internet. More info... |
|
Log in to your iLok.com account... |
and click on What's on my iLok? |
| Synchronize your iLok... |
with your iLok.com account. A new iLok is registered to the first account it is synchronized to,
so for your protection, do this right
away. Keeping your iLok.com records current by synchronizing after adding licenses to your iLok is important for protecting your licenses and for support purposes. |
| Name your iLok... |
by clicking on the i icon and then the Edit button to change its name and description.
This is very helpful
if you have multiple iLoks. Labeling your physical iLok with its name
also helps keep things organized. |
Helpful Hints:
- Got licenses? Click on Download Licenses and follow the simple directions to download them to
the iLok of your choice. Don't forget to register your software with
the software publisher.
- Need a license? Contact the software publisher regarding the use and authorization
of their product. We are not a license distributor.
- Changed your email address? You only need to sign up for an iLok.com account once.
If you change your email address, you can update this information in ‘My Account’.
Your iLok.com account is identified by your User ID, not your email address.
- Can't log in? If you’ve forgotten your iLok.com User ID or
Password, you can recover them
by selecting Forgot your User ID? or Forgot your Password? from the Login page and then following the instructions.
- Which iLok is this? You can identify the iLoks you currently have connected to the USB ports on the computer by
clicking on the Identify button on the What's on my iLok? page.
- Records not up to date? If you add new licenses via license cards or from inside vendor software,
you should synchronize your iLok so that iLok.com is aware of the change. Remember that software
publishers
may use your account to provide technical support. Failure to keep your account up to date may result
in delays or other support issues—like your license not being available through Zero Downtime.
