What is an iLok?
The iLok is a proprietary USB hardware dongle that holds licenses for software protected by PACE Anti-Piracy's Interlok.
| It's Convenient | Store your Mac and Windows iLok-enabled software
licenses on a single iLok--it's cross-platform. |
| Portable | Authorize your software anywhere it is installed.
From home, to work, to remote location; your licenses are with you, not
your computer. |
| Worry Free | Your licenses are on the safe, secure iLok, so there is no need to contact software developers for a new authorization due to a system problem caused by a machine upgrade, disk maintenance, hardware failure, or software update. |
| & Easy with iLok.com! |
Identify and manage your iLoks and licenses with your iLok.com account. View the contents of your iLoks, take delivery of new licenses, and move licenses between iLoks and iLok.com accounts. |
Software + License = Working (or Playing!)
Your protected software needs a license to run. The software looks at your USB ports for an iLok with the correct license. Once it is found, your software is authorized to run and you are ready to work (or play).
With iLok, your licenses can be protected by Zero Downtime
If your iLok is ever broken, lost or stolen and you can't be without your licenses, Zero Downtime coverage can keep you up and running. Visit the Zero Downtime Coverage page for information.
